PRODUCT TRAINER - DALLAS / FT WORTH AREA
This position is responsible for marketing and sales training of contractors in the assigned region. The Product Trainer coordinates training schedules and provides training, product demonstrations, and showcasing at businesses as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Prepare presentation materials and marketing/sales correspondence and conduct technical training sessions for contractors, plumbers, and customers on product features, functions, and installations of new and current company products.
- Conduct trainings, lunch-and-learns, and counter days to train wholesalers, sales reps, and distributors on products.
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
- Investigate and resolve customer problems.
- Meet with contractors and plumbers at job sites to assist in troubleshooting, sizing, and training.
- Answer technical questions related to product selection, specifications, and installations to assist contractors, plumbers, and customers.
- May assist in coordinating the installation and servicing of Company products at customers' locations.
- Collaborate and meet with other departments to stay up to date on the latest product information.
- Evaluate new products and develop specs using knowledge gained from customer interactions.
- Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by senior management.
- Attend trade shows as needed.
- Prepare activity reports and submit them to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Complete any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in any field from a four-year college or university; 1-3 years of related experience in sales, marketing, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Excellent organization and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality training materials and experiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel for training sessions and industry events.
